Position Overview
As a Life Success Specialist (BHT), you will work directly with youth (ages 5–17) and their caregivers to build essential life skills, promote independence, and support social and economic self-sufficiency. This role is community-based and involves close collaboration with the Department of Child Safety (DCS) to support reunification efforts.
Status: Part-Time (Potential to transition to Full-Time in the future).

Position Overview

Compensation
- Pay Rate: $7.50 per unit completed.
- What is a unit? 1 unit = 15 minutes of service.
- Mileage: Reimbursement provided for client-related travel.
- 1:1 Mentorship: Deliver life skills training to youth and caregivers in their homes and communities.
- Assessment: Utilize the Ansell Casey Life Skills Assessment to evaluate developmental needs.
- Planning: Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
- Engagement: Facilitate therapeutic activities, social skills programs, and recreational outings (sports, arts, hobbies).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate weekly progress notes and encounter tracking.
- Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and clinical supervision.
- Flexibility: Hours vary based on client needs; Monday–Saturday availability preferred.
- Availability: Must be able to work during summer and school breaks.
- Physical: Ability to climb stairs, move frequently, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Age: Minimum 21 years old.
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s in a related field preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with youth and families in a behavioral health setting.
- Requirements: Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid Certification, and a negative TB test.
- Transport: Must have a reliable, insured vehicle (minimum $100K/$300K coverage) to transport youth, including a first aid kit.
- Strong organizational and community navigation skills.
- Effective teaching and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
